New builds, rentals and moving day
New-build carpets are a common job for us in Crawley. Even a carpet that has never been lived on can hold construction dust and debris from the fit-out, and because it has not yet built up embedded soil, it takes a protection treatment well once it has been cleaned.

Rugs, wool carpets and drying times
Most rugs can be cleaned in your home with our portable equipment, from a synthetic hallway runner to a hand knotted wool piece. We check the fibre and test the dyes first, use pH neutral, Woolsafe approved solutions on wool, and switch to a low moisture method for silk and delicate dyes. Rugs start from £50 depending on size.
Fitted wool carpets get the same care, and we are Woolsafe approved with a Woolsafe Registered Inspector. Carpets are usually dry within a few hours, while thicker rugs can take longer. Keep the room ventilated, cross the carpet in clean socks rather than shoes if you have to, and wait until it is fully dry before putting furniture back, so nothing leaves a mark.
